Hey guys and girls, I would like to thank you all for checking out the site,
I am pleased to announce that yesterday, February 3rd, 2004, we just hit
400 members. That said, there are a lot of great things in store.
You'll notice that there have been a lot of changes going on with the site
lately. We switched servers and lost the forum in the process. We're not
sure yet if we're going to get that back up or try something new.
You'll also notice that there haven't been a ton of updates to the main
page, or to anything other than the gallery.
We're really focused on building our userbase right now, and if you guys
and girls can get all of your friends to sign up, get their friends to
sign up, etc. you'll see a lot more updates, and a lot more features as
well.
I've promised a member in the forum (I believe it was VanillaKisses)
that when we get to 10,000 members everyone will be able to post comments
in everyone's profiles. We are definitely planning on keeping this promise,
and you will see many more major changes as we gain more and more users.
(Every 10,000 users you will see MAJOR upgrades) The popularity / success
of this web site is entirely dependent on how many people we have visiting
the site, and signing up for membership, and the only way people are going
to hear about the site is if you tell them (we're exclusive like that).
Also, I've been getting a lot of questions about what CGO is about. The
story of how it all started is for another time, but the site is for anyone,
anyone can sign up as long as they are over 18 and they have a picture
of themselves. (Profiles without pictures are deleted by the system every
so often. You have to have at least one picture of yourself as you main
picture, and the rest of the pics can be of yourself, your family, your
car, whatever.)
Some people also have been asking if it costs anything to join. MEMBERSHIP
IS FREE. As long as I have my way, it's going to stay free. (There
may be premium memberships and some other interesting options later on
though) But one way or another, you will always be able to sign up for
a basic account for free. Also, you'll notice that this site isn't littered
with advertisements either. If I have my way, you're never going to see
pop-up ads on our site. Again though, I can't promise this completely,
but the purpose of CGO was never to make money. We just need to cover
our costs, but it sure would be nice to have some money to spend on advertising
and on enhancing our site's features (increasing the speed the site loads,
etc.)
We've also been getting a lot of e-mails (admin@cutegirlsonly.com)
asking how you can help us do these things. The best way you can help
us is to tell your friends about the site, and get some word of mouth
advertising out there about us. The more people we have coming to the
site, the better it will get.
